Finding Your Fit
Ring Sizing
Two simple ways to find your ring size at home:
Method 1 — Using an existing ring
Take a ring that already fits the intended finger comfortably. Measure the inside diameter in millimetres using a ruler, and match it to the chart below. For the most accurate result, measure a ring that sits snugly but slides over the knuckle without much resistance.
Method 2 — Paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres with a ruler. This gives you your finger's circumference — match it to the chart below.

Between two sizes, or unsure? Size up rather than down — a slightly looser ring is more comfortable over a full day than one that's tight.
Bracelet & Bangle Sizing
Wrap a soft measuring tape (or a paper strip, then measure the length) around the widest part of your wrist, just past the wrist bone.
Solavell bangles come in two fit types: some are a fixed inner-diameter design (rigid, sized to slip over the hand), while others offer a variable, adjustable inner diameter for a more customisable fit. Each product page notes which fit type applies and, where relevant, the available diameter options for that piece. For fixed-diameter styles, we recommend adding a little ease to your wrist measurement for comfortable movement over the hand.
Necklace Length Guide
Our necklaces are designed at 45 cm, with a 5 cm extender for adjustable fit — sitting at or just below the collarbone on most necks. If you prefer a longer drop, the extender lets you release the pendant lower without needing a different chain.
Caring for Your Jewellery
Solavell pieces are engineered for daily wear — but a little care keeps them looking their best for the long run:
- Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear to remove any residue from skin, sweat, or product
- Store pieces separately, ideally in a soft pouch or lined compartment, to avoid surface scratching from contact with other jewellery
- Clean occasionally with mild soap and lukewarm water, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth
- Avoid abrasive polishes, harsh chemical cleaners, and prolonged exposure to perfumes or cleaning agents not recommended by Solavell
